Email notifications and the weekly uptime report
What the weekly uptime report contains and when it arrives, how to unsubscribe in one click, and which alert and account emails you can switch off.
Every Monday at 07:00 UTC, each member of an organisation with monitors receives a summary of the previous 7 full days (UTC), compared with the week before: uptime per monitor, incidents and total downtime, the slowest monitors, and certificates or domains that expire soon.
It goes only to confirmed email addresses, and organisations whose monitors were all paused for the whole week are skipped. Under Email notifications you can preview it with your own data. Every report has an unsubscribe link that works in one click, without logging in.
Open Email notifications in the dashboard. The settings apply to your own address only, not to the rest of your team:
- Weekly uptime report: on by default.
- Product news: occasional emails about new features and important changes. Off unless you opt in.
- Alert emails to your address: down alerts are always sent; recoveries, warnings and change alerts can each be switched off. To stop down alerts, remove your address from the monitor's alert channels.
The same page shows how many monitors send alerts to your address and can attach your address to all of them in one click.
Emails about your account cannot be switched off: the welcome email when the account is created, address confirmation, password resets, team invitations and security notices (for example when your password changes).
